  • Day 1 Welcome to Sri Lanka

    Ayu-bowan! Welcome to beautiful Sri Lanka. Your journey begins in Negombo, a charming coastal town close to the international airport.


    Our friendly guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Negombo. You can arrive at any time today and relax after your flight.


    If you get here early, you can enjoy a peaceful walk by the beach, see the colourful local fishing boats, or try some tasty fresh seafood. If you're feeling active, you can also rent a bicycle from the hotel and explore the quiet countryside and canals nearby.

  • Day 2 Travel to Dambulla

    After breakfast, you will leave Negombo and travel to Dambulla. The drive takes around 4.5 hours, and you’ll arrive just after midday.


    Once you check in at the hotel, you can relax and enjoy some free time. If you’d like to explore more, you have a few great options this afternoon:


    Take a jeep safari at a nearby wildlife park like Minneriya or Kaudulla, where you might see wild elephants. The park we visit depends on the season.

    Visit the famous Dambulla Cave Temples, filled with colourful paintings and statues of the Buddha.

    Your guide can help arrange any of these activities.

  • Day 3 : Sigiriya Rock & Journey to Kandy

    Start your day early with a visit to the amazing Sigiriya Rock Fortress, just 30 minutes from Dambulla. This ancient rock rises high above the jungle and offers incredible views from the top. The climb is steep and has some uneven steps, so wear comfortable shoes.


    If you prefer not to climb, you can enjoy the peaceful gardens at the base of the rock and still take beautiful photos of this world-famous site.


    After your visit, return to the hotel for breakfast, then continue your journey to Kandy (around 3 hours). On the way, you can stop at a spice garden and enjoy lunch (optional).


    In the afternoon, explore Kandy’s Temple of the Tooth (Dalada Maligawa) – the most sacred Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. You’ll see many locals dressed in white coming to worship.

  • Day 4 Discover Kandy

    Enjoy a relaxed morning in Kandy, a lovely city surrounded by green hills and nature. You can take a walk around the peaceful Kandy Lake, explore the local markets, or visit some traditional shops. Kandy has a rich history – it was the last royal capital of Sri Lanka and stayed free from European rule for many years.


    You may also choose to visit Udawattakele Sanctuary, a forest park near the city with walking trails, birds, monkeys, and beautiful plants. It's a quiet place to enjoy nature.


    For lunch, you’ll visit the Hela Bojun Restaurant, a special place run by women from local communities. It’s supported by the Sri Lankan government and helps empower women by giving them jobs and training. You’ll enjoy tasty Sri Lankan dishes while learning about their inspiring work.


    The rest of the day is free for you to explore Kandy your own way. You can relax at your hotel or enjoy an optional activity.

  • Day 5 Travel to the Beach – Unawatuna

    After breakfast, travel south in a private vehicle to Unawatuna, a beautiful beach town. The drive takes about 6 hours, passing through lovely countryside and small towns.


    Once you arrive, the rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the coast. Unawatuna has soft sandy beaches, calm waves, and many small restaurants and cafés to chill out in.


    If you're feeling adventurous, you could explore the nearby mangrove forest along the Galle–Matara road, or treat yourself to a peaceful massage.


    You can also visit the famous Galle Dutch Fort, a beautiful old town by the sea – it's just a short drive away, and entrance is free.

  • Day 6 Explore Galle & Relax by the Beach

    After breakfast, head to the nearby city of Galle for a relaxing morning of sightseeing. Galle is full of charm, with old Dutch-style buildings, quiet streets, and small boutique shops and cafés.


    Take a peaceful walk around Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the ocean views from the fort walls, and maybe cool down with a refreshing ginger drink at a cozy café.


    Later, return to Unawatuna Beach to relax your way – sunbathe, swim, or enjoy a cool cocktail at a beachside restaurant. This is your time to slow down and enjoy the tropical vibe.

    Galle - Galle Fort Walking tour

  • Day 7 Travel to Colombo & City Walk

    After breakfast, say goodbye to the beach and travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s busy and colorful capital city. The drive takes around 4 hours.


    Once you arrive, head out on a relaxed city walk with your guide. You’ll pass by local shops, markets, and interesting sights. If today is a Saturday, you can also visit the Good Market, a lively place where local businesses and social enterprises sell food, crafts, and handmade products.


    The evening is free for you to enjoy. Your guide can suggest a nice place for an optional dinner to celebrate your last night in Sri Lanka.

  • Day 8 Farewell Sri Lanka

    Your trip comes to an end today.
